Lake Havasu Shopping & Dining
Lake Havasu AZ Shopping & Dining
Besides our sparkling lake and sandy beaches, Lake Havasu City is perhaps best-known for London Bridge—yes, that’s right—the London Bridge! In 1968, when the City of London replaced the London Bridge spanning the River Thames, Lake Havasu City purchased the stones and re-assembled the London Bridge in Arizona, reinforcing the original 1830’s era masonry with a concrete infrastructure. Today, our London Bridge, open to the public since 1971, spans a long man-made canal that connects Lake Havasu on the Colorado River to Thompson Bay.
For those who’d like to experience Lake Havasu with a guide, there are specialized tours available in Lake Havasu City proper, as well as in nearby communities—some of the most unique our area offers visitors are the Desert Diamond Distillery Factory Tour, the Haunted Bridge - Spirits in Stone tour, the London Bridge Historic Walking Tour—or get a bird’s-eye view of Lake Havasu with one of the many hot-air balloon tours available year-round.

Looking for a tall, cold one at the end of a hot summer day?
