This Weekend!!!   No need to wait for July 4th to view the fireworks. The shimmer and sparkle of this winter holiday fireworks show taking place above scenic SARA Park glows brighter than ever this year! A visit to Lake Havasu City during President's Weekend is not complete without experiencing Western Pyrotechnic Association's and Lake Havasu City's remarkable showcase commemorating three amazing anniversary celebrations. New memories with family and friends will be created as the clear desert sky morphs into a spectacular kaleidoscope of colors in honor of the 27th anniversary of Winter Blast. 

Every year the show gets better and better, so don't miss this spectacle that promises to overwhelm thousands of visitors from around the world with the biggest event in WPA's and Lake Havasu City's history.

There will also be a Beer Garden at the Rodeo Grounds as part of fund-raising efforts on behalf of local children. 

EVENT SCHEDULE (subject to change)
Fireworks start each evening at 5pm and go until 10:30pm nightly, except Sunday (ending at 10pm).  The organized show segments are approximately one hour and begin at 7:30pm Thursday-Sunday, with the largest single show being Saturday night. Gates for the show will open at 3pm each day.

BROADCASTING (subject to change)
The show will be broadcast to the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds and BMX parking lots through KKRV FM 104.7so tune in for the latest information during the show.

PARKING/ADMITTANCE INFORMATION
Those wishing to attend may enter SARA Park off State Route 95 at Dub Campbell Way. There is a $5/vehicle parking fee from Thursday-Sunday at the Havasu 95 Speedway and ball field parking lots, and a separate $5/person admittance fee for those entering the Havasu 95 Speedway spectator area. Children 5 years of age and under will be admitted at no charge. Gates open daily at 3pm at both park entrances - PARKING FILLS UP FAST, EARLY ARRIVAL IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED. Parking admission tickets will be accepted at all public parking areas within the park, with the exception of the Fairgrounds. There will also be limited parking at the BMX track, but those parking here will not be permitted to walk to the Havasu 95 Speedway. No parking will be permitted along the shoulders of State Route 95.

PETS & SARA PARK DOG PARK
The pyrotechnics being displayed are very loud (and startling for their sensitive ears). Please keep this in mind and do not bring your four-legged family members to the event. The SARA Park Dog Park will be closed during the duration of this event, from Thursday 2/11 to Sunday 2/14. Residents and visitors are encouraged to use the Lion's Dog Park at London Bridge Beach or the Avalon Dog Park at 1294 Avalon Ave. during this time.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Book room reservations far in advance because this event is always a sell-out! Check hotel availability by clicking on the LODGING tab in this website.

Absolutely no consumer fireworks will be allowed within the park or parking lot. No food or coolers will be allowed in the event area, but are permitted at the BMX track, ball fields and parking lots. No easy-ups or tents permitted in parking lot areas. Be sure to leave your car alarms off as the fireworks will set off the alarms all night long.
